Bo

Here is a doggie who needs a new, good home. Right now Bo is owned by my coworker who has a pig farm (and is kept outdoors). She is current on all shots and has been fixed, but they say Bo doesn't do well with the pigs (barks at them a lot, etc.), but is a very nice pup. She will be 1 year old on Dec 2.
If people had questions they could for sure contact Andrea via email at andreab97[at]gmail.com and she has offered to get a hold of Melanie if they wanted more information.

I was adopted from the Waterloo Humane Society in 1999. I have lived the past 5 years in Columbus Ohio. My owner found himself traveling for work and hardly ever home. There was no one to help take care of me. My owners parents came for a visit and brought me back to Iowa to find a home.

Cats needing a Home

A family left two cats on the doorstep of Cedar Valley Vet Center at 506 W. 1st St. in Cedar Falls. A note attached said the family did not have the money to feed them, neuter them or have their shots. They are asking that a good home be found for them. There is a solid black male and a black and white female. The clinic neutered them. Both are friendly. Please call or stop by to see them if you are interested. They are very pretty, well behaved pets.

1st Annual Alumni Reunion

The Cedar Bend Humane Society is holding their 1st Annual Alumni Reunion on Thursday, July 2, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Gateway Park. The public is invited, especially anyone who has adopted a pet from the CBHS. There is no admission fee, but food will be available for a suggested $5.00 donation, with proceeds to go toward the CBHS building fund.

All P.E.T. P.A.L.S. members are encouraged to attend to show support for the CBHS, whether or not they've adopted a pet from there. We ask that you wear your blue P.E.T. P.A.L.S. shirt so you'll be visible to the staff and others in attendance.

Please Note: Pets will be allowed but, as always, be aware of the weather and its effect on animals.

R.S.V.P. is preferred! Hope to see you there!

Thanks,
P.E.T. P.A.L.S. Board
